Welcome to the Intersection of Grace & Truth
A Sanctuary for Faith. A Laboratory for Reason. A Fortress for Sobriety.
Hello and Welcome.
If you have found your way here, you are likely looking for something more than just another religious blog or self-help site. You might be looking for a way to hold onto your faith while grappling with heavy questions. You might be fighting for your life in recovery. Or, you might simply be hungry for a deeper, more rigorous walk with God.
Whatever path brought you here, know this: You are not alone, and you are welcome here.
Who We Are
LDS Faith, Reason, and Sobriety is a ministry and community dedicated to the idea that you do not have to check your brain at the door of your faith, nor do you have to hide your struggles to be worthy of God’s love.
We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is robust enough to handle your hardest questions and powerful enough to break your strongest chains.
Our Three Pillars
1. Faith
We are unashamedly rooted in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in covenants, in prophets, and in the redeeming power of the Atonement. But we also believe faith is a verb—it is a courageous step into the dark, trusting that God is there.
2. Reason
God gave us intellects for a reason. Here, we embrace history, philosophy, science, and theology. We do not fear facts. We believe that true religion and true science eventually meet at the same source of Truth. We explore scripture with the rigor of a scholar and the heart of a disciple.
3. Sobriety
Whether it is addiction to substances, toxic relationships, or destructive habits, we believe that recovery is a spiritual discipline. We provide devotionals, resources, and honest conversations about what it means to live a “crucified life”—disciplined, sober, and alive in Christ.
Who This Is For
This community is designed specifically for:
- Latter-day Saints in Recovery: Those walking the 12 Steps who need scriptural meat, not just milk.
- The Seekers & Questioners: Faithful members navigating a “faith crisis” or deconstruction who want to reconstruct on a firmer foundation.
- The “Noble and Great” Ones: Anyone who feels called to a higher level of discipleship and wants to understand their pre-mortal identity and earthly purpose.

A Note from the Host
“I know what it feels like to be pulled back toward Egypt. I know the darkness of addiction and the silence of doubt. But I also know the whisper of the Father who says, ‘You are mine.’ My goal is to help you hear that voice again.” — Timothy Berman
