Product Descriptions
Reasonable efforts will be made to describe products accurately.
However, product details may change, including:

Images may be digital mockups and may differ slightly from the final product.
Faith & Reason may correct typographical, pricing, formatting, or descriptive errors at any time.
Pricing and Order Acceptance
Prices are displayed in the currency identified at the point of sale.
Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order may be declined or canceled before fulfillment when reasonably necessary because of:
- An incorrect price or description;
- Product unavailability;
- Suspected fraud;
- Payment failure;
- Duplicate orders;
- Technical errors;
- Delivery restrictions; or
- Another legitimate operational concern.
When a direct order is canceled after payment, an appropriate refund will be initiated through the original payment method, subject to the payment processor’s procedures.

Payment Processing
Direct payments may be processed by Stripe, PayPal, or another disclosed third-party provider.
Payment processors operate under their own terms, privacy policies, security procedures, and eligibility requirements.
Faith & Reason generally does not directly receive or store complete payment-card or bank-account credentials submitted through those services.
Customers agree to provide accurate billing and transaction information and represent that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Faith & Reason may receive limited transaction information necessary to process orders, provide customer service, maintain records, prevent fraud, and address refunds or disputes.
Taxes
Customers are responsible for taxes, duties, customs charges, or other governmental fees applicable to their purchases unless the seller or retailer is legally required to collect them at checkout.
The amount and treatment of taxes may depend on the customer’s location, the product format, the retailer, and applicable law.
Third-Party Retailers
Purchases completed through Amazon or another outside retailer are transactions between the customer and that retailer.
The retailer’s policies govern:
- Payment processing;
- Printing;
- Inventory;
- Shipping;
- Delivery;
- Account management;
- Returns;
- Refunds;
- Replacements; and
- Customer service.
Faith & Reason cannot control or guarantee the performance of an independent retailer, publisher, printer, carrier, or fulfillment provider.
Direct Sales, Delivery, and Fulfillment
When Faith & Reason sells a product directly, the applicable delivery, shipping, cancellation, return, replacement, and refund terms will be provided at checkout or through a separate Sales and Refund Policy.
Digital products may be delivered electronically. Physical products may be fulfilled directly or through a third-party printer, publisher, or shipping service.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of printing, carrier operations, weather, customs, inventory, technical failures, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates a consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Refunds and Returns
Refund and return eligibility depends on:
- Whether the product was purchased directly or through a retailer;
- Whether it is physical or digital;
- The condition of the product;
- The reason for the request;
- The policy displayed at the time of purchase; and
- Applicable consumer law.
Purchases through third-party retailers are subject to the retailer’s return and refund policies.
Terms for direct sales will be stated at checkout or in a separate Sales, Shipping, Returns, and Refunds Policy before direct sales begin.
Digital Products
Digital publications may be licensed for the purchaser’s personal, noncommercial use.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer copyright ownership.
Unless expressly permitted, purchasers may not:
- Share download links publicly;
- Upload files to file-sharing services;
- Redistribute copies;
- Resell or sublicense the material;
- Remove copyright notices; or
- Use the material to create a competing product.
Access requirements, compatible formats, and any applicable refund limitations should be reviewed before purchase.
AI-Assisted and Illustrative Content
Faith & Reason may use generative artificial intelligence or other digital tools to assist with images, graphics, transcription, editing, research organization, formatting, or content development.
AI-assisted material is reviewed and approved before publication under the Faith & Reason name, but errors may still occur.
Illustrative images, artistic depictions, thumbnails, and digital composites should not be treated as documentary or photographic proof unless expressly identified as authentic documentary material.
You may not knowingly use Faith & Reason content to create deceptive impersonations, fraudulent evidence, or false claims of endorsement.
Privacy
Use of Faith & Reason is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, retained, and processed through the website and third-party services.
By using interactive features, subscribing, or completing a transaction, you acknowledge the data practices described in that policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Responsibility for Your Actions
You are responsible for your use of the website, your submissions, and your compliance with these Terms.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or costs arising from your unlawful use of Faith & Reason, your infringement of another person’s rights, or material you submit in violation of these Terms.
This provision does not require a consumer to waive rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
Enforcement
Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Faith & Reason may take reasonable action in response to violations, including:
- Removing content;
- Closing comments;
- Blocking access;
- Canceling a fraudulent or unauthorized transaction;
- Preserving relevant records;
- Reporting unlawful activity; or
- Seeking available legal remedies.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection and jurisdictional requirements.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections provided by the laws of the consumer’s place of residence.
Informal Resolution of Concerns
Before initiating a formal dispute, you are encouraged to contact Faith & Reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to address the concern.
Correspondence should include:
- Your name and contact information;
- A clear description of the concern;
- The page, comment, product, or transaction involved;
- The resolution you are requesting; and
- Supporting information reasonably necessary to investigate.
Send concerns to timothy.r.berman@gmail.com.
This informal process does not prevent either party from taking timely action when necessary to protect legal rights or comply with filing deadlines.
Severability
If a court determines that part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
No Waiver
A delay or failure to enforce a provision does not waive that provision or any other right.
Any waiver must be express and applies only to the specific circumstance for which it is given.
Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written permission.
Faith & Reason may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a legitimate transfer, restructuring, or succession of the website or publishing operation, subject to applicable law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Affiliate Disclosure, Comment Policy, and any applicable sales policy, form the agreement governing use of Faith & Reason.
Terms presented at checkout or by a third-party retailer may also apply to a particular purchase.
